I just witnessed JC’s first steps after all the surgery malarky that she had to go through to get her feet remodeled.
And guess what it damn near brought tears to my eyes 🙂
Considering that she only had her casts taken off last Thursday (3 days ago!!!) It’s amazing how much weight bearing she tolerates on her feet :O
On another note: only two more shifts (Monday & Tuesday) and then Xmas… Thank God I done most of my shopping, only two more things and cards and thats me, thank fuck.
anyways lets enjoy the rest of this Sunday nice hot bath later and some scrummylicious carbonara that Mandy got earlier on, omnomnom

Since the end of October, Jessica-Chloé has been in and out of Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Two major elective reconstructive surgeries on her feet.
The first one was on her right foot, and while they were at it, they removed a metal-plate out of her left thigh. And it went absolutely swimmingly, barely any pain or discomfort in the aftercare on the pediatric ward. Absolutely brilliant.
But the 2nd one? (Left foot and right thigh) Complete different story… The stupid *insert random but vile swear here* nurse didn’t have a clue what she was doing nor was she in the slightest interested. JC was for 8 hours in absolute pain… *insert another random but even more vile swear here*
Anyway, JC’s home and back to her usual self 😀 Happy days 🙂
Two more minor surgeries coming up to look at & remove the wires in her foot, used to hold the bones in place.
And then there’s X-Mas.. But that’s for another post 😉
