so today I have decided to sit down and think what I want to be doing with this site in future.
I still want to go upload youtube videos and do some minecraft stuff on there.
One of the issues I had in the past was that my rig was not quite what it needs to be to be playing and recording videos at the same time.
I have recently updated my rig with a new graphics card. I got a Nvidia GTX 660 Ti with 2GB ram, we have also fairly recently upgraded to a 42 inch tv (as opposed to a 32 inch old 4:3 tube telly lol.
With this beast there is 1080p/i display at 1920×1080 pixel in glorious HD 😀
So I have been somewhat occupied recently with playing through some of my games to see them in a new light.
Since my rig is now powerful enough, I am now trying to decide how to plan these videos. I will for starters possibly just record some videos on a weekly basis and upload them to youtube. I will still need to see how I am going to go about commenting the videos while recording. I am also thinking that I might make this in a format where I am playing together with my Partner and we will then record some sort of twitch stream. Not sure yet, need to discuss with Veronica 🙂 hint hint
Anyhoo, I have admittedly been fairly absent from the blog in the past and I vow to make this better as I also want to be able to look back on my experiences and recollections and keep a record of stuff as well as record the former for posterity lol
For now I shall leave it at that and I will update again as soon as.
since I started my new work with GFI (see my CV) I have been up to my eyeballs in training for this role.
As technical support rep, there’s bucketloads of knowledge to be crammed into ma poor wee brain 😉
Saying that, it is after all, what I do and enjoy.
But maybe in the future I might be able to keep this blog more updated, with at least photo’s from my weekends with the family 🙂
I just witnessed JC’s first steps after all the surgery malarky that she had to go through to get her feet remodeled.
And guess what it damn near brought tears to my eyes 🙂
Considering that she only had her casts taken off last Thursday (3 days ago!!!) It’s amazing how much weight bearing she tolerates on her feet :O
On another note: only two more shifts (Monday & Tuesday) and then Xmas… Thank God I done most of my shopping, only two more things and cards and thats me, thank fuck.
anyways lets enjoy the rest of this Sunday nice hot bath later and some scrummylicious carbonara that Mandy got earlier on, omnomnom

Since the end of October, Jessica-Chloé has been in and out of Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Two major elective reconstructive surgeries on her feet.
The first one was on her right foot, and while they were at it, they removed a metal-plate out of her left thigh. And it went absolutely swimmingly, barely any pain or discomfort in the aftercare on the pediatric ward. Absolutely brilliant.
But the 2nd one? (Left foot and right thigh) Complete different story… The stupid *insert random but vile swear here* nurse didn’t have a clue what she was doing nor was she in the slightest interested. JC was for 8 hours in absolute pain… *insert another random but even more vile swear here*
Anyway, JC’s home and back to her usual self 😀 Happy days 🙂
Two more minor surgeries coming up to look at & remove the wires in her foot, used to hold the bones in place.
And then there’s X-Mas.. But that’s for another post 😉
